George Smitherman will be the new Minister of Energy and Infrastructure. After serving for nearly five years as Ontario’s Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, Minister Smitherman is ready to take on new challenges. Under his leadership, Ontario’s health-care system has seen steady improvement. Ontario became Canada’s leader in reducing wait-times and 630,000 more Ontarians gained access to a family doctor.
