Waterfront Corporation Announces Winner Of Lower Don Lands Design Competition

The Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation chose Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates' submission in the Lower Don Lands design competition. Here is an artist's rendering of the design for land around the mouth of the Don River.

This design incorporates development, naturalization and public transit.

The plan incorporates the ship channel into the redevelopment. Eventually, the community will be home to 100,000 people.
